Kontos-Traditional house in Andros beach

Location was excellent and the cleanliness was exceptional. Easy to walk to the Chora. Perfect. The facilities were excellent too. Close to hiking paths as well.

I can't think of anything that we didn't like.

It is so nice to stay here. In a pedestrian street in between the locals. Nice terrace, two good size rooms and a small living room. The beds are firm, a small double and two singles. We booked 4 nights and towels and sheets were changed after three nights. Not necessary but comfortable. It’s 5 minutes walk to the center uphill with stairs and 5 minutes walk to the beach area with beach beds. 2 minutes to mini market. Very friendly owner who picked us up from the bus station and brought us back when we departed. Told us some history of the island.

Highly recommend staying here. Very comfortable for 3-4 people, 2 bedrooms, double & 2 singles, also has a lounge. Fully equipped kitchen, large fridge, washing machine. Air con in all areas. We were there in the heat wave and the power tripped and the host came over straight away. We got a lift to and from the ferry port for an extra charge which was super convenient. Host gave up local recommendations. Great location & we loved Andros. Much quieter Greek Island.

Lovely small traditional house with original floor tiles and boards. LIttle front porch where we had our meals and greeted the neighbours. Wonderful traditional Greek residential area feeling very authentic. The very welcoming host collected us from the bus stop. Would return any time.

This quaint house is in a good position near the beach, a store and restaurants, and is a short walk from the old town.

Loved staying in a traditional house rather than a boring, tourist studio. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The host met us at the bus station and took us there and dropped us off on the way back. He also recommended an excellent, nearby taverna.

The lock was difficult and needs changing - quite frustrating. Apart from this, we loved our stay.
