Kruger's Retreat & Rest

Everything in the property was just as it was advertised, actually better than what was advertised. Frank was a great host and kept tabs on us and gave us the proper guidelines with the surroundings and the property itself, with the animals coming in for a drink as well as a stroll in the veld. The inverter really did play its role, we never felt the effects of load-shedding with the fans consistently aiding in keeping the rooms cool. Overall the stay was beautiful and the property is a must-visit for everyone, beautiful homey warm.

The house was very clean, we had access to hot water and there was back up power for loadshedding. We also got cute visits from giraffes, warthogs and impalas.

Great value for money. Property was clean and neat with a lovely little braai area and splash Pool. Frank made check in easy and was very accommodating.

All the different buck would stroll past the stoop (porch) throughout the day. It was lovely to feed the animals as they passed by. (Carrots, Apples, Lettuce, Beetroot, Banana, and Game Pellets) Property is about a 5 minute drive from the second entrance to Marloth Park. (Entrance closest to Malelane) There's a small village in MP with all the essentials you need and is about a 10 minute drive. The cottage had all the essentials, and there was clear communication from the owner. Driving along the fence line of the Crocodile River was a highlight!

Safety within Marloth Park regarding crime seemed to be a slight concern for residents.

Amazing serene setting with so many unforgettable interactions with the wildlife. Going for a run around Marloth park was incredible with many kilometers of trail with a view over the Kruger's crocodile river.

The bed was not the most comfortable

I like seeing the animals and feeding them, especially the Kudus they were friendly.
