Great cottage and location

Nothing everything perfect

Compact yet very comfy

No microwave and couldn’t take the key out once the front door is locked hence using the back door

The cottage was beautiful with everything we needed. Welcome gifts were a lovely touch. The cottage had even been decorated for christmas with a beautiful tree and garlands on the fireplaces.Slept really well in the comfy beds. The weather wasn't too good but when we arrived there was a farmers christmas market on next door which was fabulous .also a great pub just 2 minutes walk away.We had the best weekend and will most certainly be booking for next year......Thank-you

On arrival the place was spotless. The key was easy to locate in the key safe. The equipment level in the kitchen was excellent. The bathroom was of good size with a good, powerful shower. Comfortable beds in the good size bedrooms. The central heating was set up to perfection and never needed to be altered. The location for pubs was spot on with a special mention to Hoggs and Heifers which, in train spotter fashion, I counted to be 23 steps door to door! However, there was no noise nuisance whatsoever. The walking in the area from the door is superb. We liked Bentham and would certainly return to this property

If I had to make one small but constructive criticism it would be that the smaller bedroom could do with somewhere to hang clothes on coat hangers. Maybe a wall mounted rail

Hosts were very helpful and the welcome book was simple. Cosy little cottage with everything you need.

It was mostly great - would be nice if you stocked some cooking oil and more spices - thankfully coop was opposite! A shame there's no parking outside the cottage, but it was only a short walk so not too much trouble.

Location was central ,within walking distance to all amenities in the town and also an ideal base for touring the dales and the lake district..

The location was brilliant just 12 minutes away from Ingleton waterfalls, the village had everything we needed a co-op a couple of pubs, ample parking around the back even though it says private parking that belongs to the animal auction house, apparently all the locals park there. There's a pub two doors down but the cottage window when closed kept any noise pollution out, large bath with shower over the top perfect for my boys.

It said we could make a fire in the stove it said kindling & fire starters available but there wasn't any to be found. My boys were alittle disappointed as we don't have a stove at home just boring old gas central heating, but then it was the height of summer when we stayed & didn't need to light it as it was really warm in the cottage.
