No.33 Coach House

Quaint and cozy. It was like stepping back in time except the central heating works perfectly, the shower has great water pressure and the WiFi connection is good etc etc. The atmosphere of 1925 with the comfort of 2025! Lorna was the perfect host. When we arrived the house was spotlessly clean and she had left some breakfast provisions for us.

There was nothing not to like.

It was very quaint in decor

Hodnotenie 10/10 som ešte nikomu nedal. Čakal som na niečo výnimočné. V tomto ubytovaní sa všetko spojilo do dokonalosti. Ubytovanie je komfortné, ale zároveň vyzerá ako keby ho majiteľ zakonzervoval v niekde v medzivojnovom období. Samozrejme sú tam niektoré obmedzenia , ktoré vyplývajú z toho že majiteľ chcel zachovať ducha doby. Majiteľka Lorna a jej pohostinnosť je ďalším dôvodom prečo tento dom navštíviť.

The Coach House is perfectly located in Hillsborough. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

A wonderfully charming in a perfect location for exploring Hillsborough and the surrounding areas. The cottage itself is like walking into a period movie set - so beautifully restored and decorated. Two lovely pubs - both less than 100 m from No. 33, and both highly recommended. Perfect communication from Lorna before and during the stay. This is a gem!

The place is very close to perfect, but some may find the stairs a bit steep, and note that there is an old fashioned bathtub not very suitable for those with reduced mobility.
