Spacious house, good location, well equipped

Everything was perfect. The owner is very nice and the location is perfect. The house had everything that we needed. The family restaurant nearby is also great and we had most of our dinners there (also take away).

We liked having the whole house on our own. Also we didn't have to worry about parking for the car as we could park the car free of charge inside the property of the owners. The house is located in a quiet district of Chania, on a walking distance to several nice sandy beach places, restaurants, small and big supermarkets. The owners are friendly and their restaurant next door is very good.

The house (e.g. kitchen, incl. the kitchen appliances, bathroom, toilet) is outdated inside and furniture (beds, sofa) not comfortable. We did not sleep well on the beds and one of us even returned home with backpain. The airconditioners did not function properly. It was dissapointing to hear from the owner that we need to pay 15 euro for cleaning service upon our request. We could ask for clean towels each third day and we had to change the linnen of the beds by ourself. We were unpleasantly surprised as this was not clear from the description of the accommodation when we made the booking reservation. We expected the towels will be supplied to us more often and pro-actively by the owner without us to be bothered with waiting until we are 'allowed' to get clean towels. Also, we had to bring the garbage bag (almost every day) by ourself in the containers one street further. This way, it did'n feel for us like having a holiday. Due to all this, we think this accommodation was too expensive compared to other 4 star accommodations in the same area. We did not get value for money and we expected much more comfort and pro-active service for a 4 star accommodation with 'exceptional' rating.

Surrounded by shops and very good restaurants. - Friendly and dedicated host. She was always there, ready to provide help and support. Highly recommending Thea Artemis to everyone!

Excellent location for beaches with good snorkelling, restaurants and I love Pagoto ice cream shop. Also a short walk to a large supermarket and buses into Chania. Friendly owner.

Beautiful house near the beach. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, has everything needed for longer stays. Good internet, AC in every room, water filter, crib on request, lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, bus to Chania stops very close. Perfect for family stay. Beautiful sunrise from the balcony. Also, owners are super nice and willing to help :)

Just as a suggestion for improvement - adding a dishwasher :)

Well positioned to beaches,restaurants and shops as well as buses. Very clean and cool.

Nothing- perhaps a long mirror would be helpful

The house is very nice and good located. Artemis is super kind and is always available. It is close to the beach and lots of restaurants, anyway the one we most liked is OZON which is near the house.
