Beach House

The spacious living areas on both floors, bathrooms on both floors, beautiful and comfortable furniture, the towels, the sea facing balcony and the short walking distance to the beach.

It was peaceful and quiet with the rumbling of the ocean in the background. Linen and towel were impressive.

Lockbox number was not the same as was given. When we entered the house the alarm went off. The security company was there in minutes. It took a while to figure out how to disarm the alarm. I had to contact next door neighbour.

Great location and wonderful house.

Honestly it was fantastic. It would have been great if the showers had shower gel and shampoo (since we were only there for 1 night and didn’t think to bring it).

Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Great location, perfect for a beach getaway.

The electric kettle kept cutting out the tap in kitchen was dirty cutlery draw needed a clean the house looked like it had been left a long time & reopened as a few things such as bins chair mildew … I must say the bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean & plenty of towels .., It would have been nice to have a welcome pack coffee/tea milk salt & pepper & some wood for the BBQ also pegs for the line…The neighbour who welcomed us were very nice & helpful…it was still a nice stay but needs little improvements

The host was very accommodating and responded to all questions timeously. The house was spotless when we arrived. The rooms were spacious and more than enough room for us. There were also enough bathrooms for a big group. Nobody was arguing over who would shower first. We enjoyed the pool table a lot. Only wish there was more boardgames. The view was spectacular from the house. The peace and quiet was relaxing and serene. There is a huge dining table in the kitchen that is perfect for a large group.

The orientation of the pool table made it difficult to play from certain sides. We wished the couches downstairs were situated at the TV upstairs instead. They are extremely comfortable and would have made movie night better. We loved the kitchen and the setup but my mother said she would have preferred it downstairs close to the braai area as it would have made it easier than running up and down stairs while braaing. This is not something that can be fixed and also not something that made our stay unenjoyable or unpleasant at all. This is not about the house, but we were hoping we could swim. There are no pools in the area we could access or visit for the day and the beach is filled with sandfleas due to the seaweed. Also something out of the owners control. It is just for future reference for people who want to stay and want to swim.
