The apartment is located in the center of the small town, everything is within walking distance, cafes, pastry shops, restaurants, wine shops, small delicatessen shops, etc. Breakfast is offered in a nearby cafe, this by itself is an Italian experience, you will have coffee "con i ragazzi" and witness the morning life in the town. The apartment was spacious, clean, equipped with everything one needed, and decorated very nicely, a pleasure to come back to at the end of the day. Also, there is free parking in front of the apartment. The location allows for trips around the area in a reasonable time, Etna, Taormia, Castiglione di Sicilia, Siracusa, etc.

Breakfast in a local cafe/bar was a freshly made pastry (don't be fooled they were substantial) of your choice and a coffee. Staff were lovely and everyone said hello as they came and went...even the local police said good morning. Loads of places to eat and the food is SUPERB. The apartment was spotless and comfortable with lots of hot water and efficient central heating. Lots of towels, toiletries and stuff to wash up with. Even had laundry detergent if you needed it. Plenty of clothes storage in lovely vintage furniture and enough sockets dotted about - just check your adapters as these were a bit different to the usual European 2 pin type. Linguaglossa is a typical little Sicilian village - some speak a bit of English, most don't...Google translate is your friend lol.

Nothing really. Even not having a kettle wasn't a problem as the stove heated a pan of water faster than our kettle at home!

Nice, clean, well-equipped appartement with friendly hosts. Good location to explore Etna North and costal region of Taormina
