Casas Tipicas Candelaria Tabua

Apartment was perfect for what we needed views were amazing and access to small pool was a bonus. Extremely clean and great value for money. Good location for travelling around the island never too far from anywhere. Between riberia brava and ponta dol sol (15 mins drive to each)

The drive to and down from the property is extremely steep I wouldn’t recommend if you are a nervous driver as will need to do this multiple times a day you aren’t really in walking distance of anywhere.

Perfect place to spend vacation 👍 quiet, relaxing, hosts are very kind. You need to have a car to explore the island. Madeira is beautiful!

A charming and welcoming place for those whose emphasis is on nature rather than luxury. The swimming pool was big enough to swim in circles :) The blooming gardens were a real pleasure and the scenery was fantastic. Exceptionally clean with all we needed. The access by car was a little challenging but became part of the charm of Casas Tipicas Lovely helpful and welcoming hosts. Thank you to Leo and Amnon

This is the best place ever. The views are breathtaking and the garden is beautiful. There's a small pool which is very clean and surrounded by amazing scenery. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. We had most of our meals at the table outside, the weather was brilliant most of the time- even in February. The owner Amnon was lovely and gave us some great tips for things to do. There are two levada walks that start only a few minutes away- we enjoyed them so much that we did both of them twice. Driving to the property was quite an experience the first time as it is so narrow and steep, but you get used to it quite quickly. We're definitely hoping to be back one day.

The water pressure in the shower is a bit low, but I've had worse.

Spectaciular location, barbecue on terrace, pool, loundry, and private parking, and well equipped kitchen, even with cheese grater :) The place is better than on pictures.
