Cosy listed barn in peaceful country village

Everything, the owners have thought about every little detail of what a traveller may need during their stay. Lovely accommodation, high end and the personal touches make the place inviting. Home away from home. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Highly recommend, will certainly look to staying here again when I’m working in the area. Thank you

Loved the barn, beams, gardens, comfy bed and size and location.

We liked everything about our stay. I like a bath to not get my scalp wet, but there is a lovely power shower.

The finer details, the owner has thought of everything for the guests.

Always exceeds expectations. Always milk in the fridge and top notch coffee facilities.

Church bells are a little noisy as I'm a light sleeper;. Most people would probably enjoy them though.

The place is absolutely lovely! Nice and clean, and very homely. Jen was amazing too, very quick responses, provided clean towels and took the rubbish and washing up from outside the front door. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, and a lovely garden view. I would certainly recommend 👌🏼 Thank you Jen for making our NYE so perfect 🙂

Jen was so accommodating. From the fresh flowers and beautifully soft towels to the bread, yogurt and milk in the fridge for us to use. Jen was super responsive and very friendly. Will definitely stay again!

I loved the property. It was exactly as advertised. It was my first visit as an adult to this part of the countryside/village with my husband. We were so pleased with everything about the beautiful converted barn. The villagers we met were all welcoming and friendly! Our host Jen, never intrusive yet always available and so generous. The welcoming flowers, food in the fridge, toiletries, coffee tea …etc were just amazing. The external garden with the apple tree that produces delicious apples we could help ourselves to was just another topping! The property has a pond with fish - oh my I could go on…

I didn’t like not having cooking facilities/kitchenette with a sink. I think for a weekend only getaway when you can order stuff in or eat out would be perfect, but not ideal for longer periods. The nearby pub (though not properly specific) operates on set days so sadly didn’t get to taste their food.

The property is genuinely idyllic and very charming. The garden is very well laid out and has a natural feel although it is well scaped with a gorgeous pond, small water falls, amazing looking trees and it's separated from the hosts house and garden giving privacy for guest to enjoy it and have a coffee or beer on the patio. The barn is stunning and so inviting, a really lovely mix of traditional yet modern decor. The hosts have renovated the barn in such a way that it retains all of classic rustic feel of an aged barn while being fully modernised, the aged beams and timbers look perfect while the modern and stylish bathroom is great. It's really warm and cosy with all mod cons but yet still had a lovely aged and classic barn feel. Jen, our host, was so welcoming while giving us total privacy, and we loved all the great treats provided like quality coffees, cereals, and local produce. The village is very quiet, peaceful and pretty too.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Some guests may want more of a kitchen there's no sink (but our host collected any plates and glasses that needed washing) and no cooker (there is a microwave to heat food). Also need to watch out for a low beam in the bedroom, but it was no problem.
