Kiburi Lodge @ Kruger, a secluded Bushveld getaway

It was peaceful and tranquil. Pub 1 road up (awefully convenient, especially when there is a rugby world cup semi final) but didn't hear it once. Kudu, warthog, impala and Nyala frequent visitors. Bring an extra cabbage for Kev the Kudu! The warthog having a nap under the table on night 1 was a bonus.

Locks on doors to veranda may need attention, and main room shower was a bit tight and made a mess on bathroom floor. This is been very critical, but did, in no way detract from the experience.

It’s very spacious, open and has a pizza oven! Lovely open places to visit and hang out. The house is prepared for load shedding with gas cooking, fans and lamps.

The indoor pool was not available.

The location for Kruger was excellent. Loved the fact that wild animals literally came to the door.

We mentioned the fridge was not working how it should especially since the weather was extremely hot. Took the fridge a full 24 hrs to get colder. We suggested using the cottages fridge for our perishables. Cottage was empty

Excellent hosts, lots of animals, space, facilities. Will return for sure!

Nothing mentionable, we found the venue, host, conditions etc as top notch.

The house provided exceptional space and entertainment areas within the Bushveld, with visiting wildlife adding an additional level of experience. This was ideally situated for us visiting the Kruger National Park every day before returning to have a braai in one of the many outdoor entertainment spaces!

the whole house are very spacious , everything you need are there and very comfortable wildlife are right on your doorstep , the hosts are very friendly and always willing and available to assist in any thing well done !!!

I really liked the animals and the beautiful views.

There was no water for a day, but things like that can be expected in the wild.
