A Wave From It All

The location was excellent for our purposes. Having a lockbox for the key was very helpful. The house was very well furnished and decorated.

I would suggest grab bars in the bathroom A clothes drier would have been handy but other than that it was a great place to stay.

Our stay was dampened by the fact the boiler had packed up before we arrived but to be honest the property was clean, all beds and seating were comfortable, had all the facilities we needed for our stay (eventually, when they were working). The property was situated a short walk from shops, sea front/pier and train station.

The boiler had clearly packed up before we had arrived. Upon arrival the freezer had water lying at the bottom, the fridge was warm too. The house didn't have heating and no hot water for washing. The food that we brought could not be stored in the fridge or freezer and we didn't feel up to a very cold bath/shower. The boiler was fixed on day 2 but we were leaving the next morning. No one had cleaned up the water sitting in the freezer or the water sitting on the worktop under the boiler after the boiler was fixed. Our food we had to take to our relatives house to put in their freezer/fridge and doing all of this when we were up to organize out mother's funeral arrangements, we were not happy.

Space. Bedrooms were big and downstairs great.

Good location to the beach and town. Spacious house for a family.

Dirt and litter under the beds and chairs. No blind at large bathroom window, making having a shower at night with the light on a definite no.

The size, the views and very comfortable.

The house is lovely and perfect for a family wanting to have the convenience of having a nice big kitchen and diner to cook and feed the family in. The location is great, maybe a 6-10 min walk from the sea front and very close to the centre of town. The front room is cosy and calm and the bedrooms done really nicely. The house is decorated very nicely and it’s clean. It was great to have the garden space, particularly for my little dog but could do with a little spruce and maybe a few deck chairs or something. Everything was how it looked in the photos and we had a really enjoyable stay. Thank you!

The property itself is great. Only thing I thought, considering it’s a 3 bed house, a second toilet, especially downstairs would be good. There was only 2 of us, this wasn’t an issue at all just thinking if a larger family stayed. There’s free street parking outside, however it is a quite a busy residential road.
