The House of Light

We had a cozy and enjoyable 2nights at the House of Lights, it had everything we needed and also a lovely terrace to enjoy the peaceful countryside. A short walk from a local taverna and plenty of places to visit by car. Very helpful and friendly owner, many thanks.

I had the pleasure of staying in this charming room located in the peaceful village of Tinos. The tranquil location, although slightly secluded, offers easy access to neighboring villages such as Komi and Kalloni. Plus, it's just a short distance away from the magnificent seaside destinations of Panormos and Kolympithres. The room itself is a delightful blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. It has been tastefully renovated, providing guests with an authentic and immersive experience. One particular highlight of this accommodation is the garden, which conveniently serves as a balcony. It was an absolute pleasure to start each day by stepping outside into own little oasis. Finally, I must commend the host for their exceptional hospitality and attentiveness. From the moment I arrived (and before) until the time of my departure, he made me feel welcome and at home. Their warmth and willingness to go above and beyond truly enhanced my experience.

One minor improvement that could elevate the overall experience would be the addition of a shutter on the door leading to the garden/balcony. This would provide an extra layer of privacy and block out any unwanted light, ensuring an even more serene atmosphere.
