La maison est située dans un village à côté de Lajes, garantissant un accès facile aux commerces et activités. Le stationnement est le long de la maison et toujours disponible. Le voisinage était agréable, y compris les coqs, dont les chants accompagnent levés et soirées. Honnêtement on s'y habitue très vite. Nous avons apprécié les attentions de l'hôte et sa disponibilité, le jardin potager et la vue qui surplombe la maison pour nous offrir un panorama sur l'océan. Le linge de maison était propre et suffisant en nombre. Au niveau des équipements la plaque de cuisson et le four sont performants, rien de superflu, l'essentiel est là. La fraîcheur de la maison est très appréciable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et n'hésiterons pas à revenir !

Very nice apartment with everything you would need. Quiet location.

Spacious, good location

It's a simple traditional house, big enough for 2 people, with a big garden (and a view of Mount Pico). The house is clean and the wifi is strong. The bathroom is nice and clean with a bidet. The single bed is good quality. It's a kind of rural place with a traditional house up on the hill, in the middle of the village. If you like that, you'll be okay there. There are natural pools and hiking options as well in the proximity. You will need a car! For the price we paid it was OK.

The double bed is ok for one person, but definitely not for two, and it's okay for people up to 1.70 m tall, although the mattress didn't fit the frame either. The kitchen could be equipped a bit better (eg. wine glasses, bowls, kitchen towels). The neighbours are loud (not the host's fault) and there are some crazy roosters competing each morning, starting at 5 am (not the host's fault either, but it can disturb you if you're not used to it. If you don't mind the rooster concert, it's ok). No communication from the host except the first instructions and the goodbye message.

It's an old house with old furniture and equipment but we had everything we needed. If you read the reviews in advance and you don't put your expectations too high, this is a fine place.

Bathroom really let's the place down-could benefit from a refurb. Otherwise all good.
