"An absolute gem of a cottage in a stunning, tranquil location!"

10.0

What an absolute find! This is a gem of a property, off the beaten track, deep in the Welsh countryside but within easy reach of local amenities. The gorgeous cottage was warm, roomy and incredibly clean! The pictures really don’t do this cottage justice, it’s far larger than we were expecting. Downstairs you have a fab utility space for wet and muddy boots (and dogs), a spacious shower / wet room, lovely kitchen breakfast room with range oven, really comfortable lounge with large TV, freesat, range of DVDs and player etc, then a separate dining room. Upstairs is a really large double bedroom, slightly smaller double bedroom, single bedroom and separate reading room with fantastic views, then outside is a beautiful garden with views of the rolling countryside. The cottage had everything we needed and I only wish we had booked to stay for longer!

Everything was better than expected, nothing not to like!

"Very comfortable and cosy"

Lovely location in the country with fab views. Good sized garden, dog loved it!

We found the stairs a little challenging, not being in the first flush of youth! but we managed OK.

"Lovely place, beautiful scenery and a tranquil garden to revive the spirit."

8.0

Location was all!...even through howling winds! Such a beautiful, tranquil garden and views to greet you every morning. The house was comfortable and cosy and had most of the amenities you would want. Lovely, clean shower/wet room, practical boot room, washing machine, microwave etc. Andrea was a considerate and friendly host. We intend to return in the summer!

Not much to dislike. The addition/convenience of a hot oven to cook quick meals (such as pizza, chicken nuggets, oven chips etc ) as the Rayburn is basically a long, slow cooker but there is a microwave for ping meals.

"There are no hyperboles that could exaggerate the quality of the cottage and it's surroundings."

10.0

The property is sensational. It is immaculate and is stocked with everything you need. It has amazing gardens and views to die for. Andrea is not only an amazing host but incredible person who helped a fellow visiting guest who developed health issues as he was arriving. She demonstrated a level of compassion and patience that is rare to find. I wish I could say bad things to put people off thereby giving me more flexibility in staying here, but of course even I can't be that greedy. I have never stayed anywhere in this part of Wales or anywhere else for that matter. We were made so welcome and comfortable. I shall be returning as soon as vacancies allow. A truly wonderful holiday cottage.
