Incredible staff and owner so friendly 💯

Great location 5min from the beach. Just don't make the mistake of booking the place for the proximity to the international airport, as the international flights are departing in Negombo 🤪 great room, kitchen, laundry and all the needed amenities. The only less was one of the mats in the twin room was kind of broken and uncomfortable.

I have stayed at over 100 hotels, this is my favorite.

This place is a little gem - normally I don’t just had out 10s for places but this place was so well thought out. Its a newer building and very clean. Kitchens on all floors, comfortable seating and couches inside and on deck, decently comfy bed (which seems to be rare) for a very good price. Stayed here while diving up beach and was perfect. Staff at area very kind and attentive.

Not much, no issues finding as other reviews mentioned as google maps takes you right to the door which has small sign above it.

We really loved our stay at Aurora Homestay. The building which seems new is clean, comfortable and decorated with taste. Our room and bathroom were clean and very pleasant and on the first and second floors, there's a large terrace with tables and chairs and comfortable armchairs, onto which our room opened directly. You could really make yourself at home. It's only a couple of minutes walk from Mount Lavinia Beach where the sand is lovely and clean, ideal for those who want to swim, have a drink or a meal. Otherwise for those who cannot or don't want to eat out all the time, each floor is equipped with a kitchen which is great for cooking your own food. There's also a washing machine and washing lines you can use on the rooftop which is very useful when you're travelling. Kishu who looks after the place is a lovely person, very friendly, efficient and always ready to help. The owner of the guesthouse lives in Thailand but one wouldn't think so as she organizes the bookings, is very attentive to the guests' every need, and is permanently in contact with Kishu. It was so nice to stay in such a quiet place that seems far from the madding crowd of Colombo's busy streets but that is only a few minutes walk from Galle Road.

Nothing. The only thing I can think of is the signposting which is so discreet that it's difficult to see, and the tuk-tuk and taxi drivers often have a hard time finding the place.

The staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Very detailed oriented from the quality of soap, having kitchens on all levels and a bar fridge in your room. Nicest place I stayed in Sri Lanka.

Everything was pefect. Host was great.
