DOMUS CLODIA, sensing Rethymno's Old Town!

The character of the house was full of charm! It was spotlessly clean and right in the middle of the old town! Wonderful!

We weren’t there long enough!

This was an exceptional stay. We arrived earlier than expected and the host accommodated us immediately without hesitation. The apartment is huge and has several floors. All beds were big and comfortable and the bathrooms were well equipped and spacious. The host even offered us some snacks and food in the kitchen which was very nice. He also has a baklava workshop facing the apartment so make sure to check that out because their baklava is delicious :). The location was great, right in the middle of Rethymno town, walking distance from everything and the area is absolutely beautiful.

The property was just fantastic. The location could not have been better, and our host Paras was so hospitable, inviting us into the family filo pastry bakery…. Which turns out is the last traditional bakery in Crete. The interior was excellent, and it turns out Paras did the work himself…. Just lovely! My mother had the master bedroom which was spacious and beautifully decorated. My teenage daughter had the mezzanine bedroom which she loved. I had the top bedroom with en-suite that linked to the surprise roof terrace… I totally recommend

a notre arrivé, le propriétaire est venu nous acceuiillir. En faite , des que la propriété était disponible , il nous a texter pour nos aviser. on s'est rejoint devant la propriété et il nous a remis les clés. Par la suite, il nous a fait visiter l'appartement. WOW, c'était ultra propre , aménager avec gout, les pieces étaient grandes et chaleureuse. Nous étions une famille de 5 ( 3 enfants) et tout le monde avait son petit espace. le wifi, netflix inclus. A notre arrivé, lait, eau et jus nous attendais dans le frigo de meme que des grigotines pour le déjeuner( pain, cereales et d'excellent Baklava). du savon pour faire la lessive et un seche linge a notre disposition. La maison était tout équipé. Le propriétaire, nous acceulli avec gentillesse et bienveillance et nous a inviter a traverser de l,autre coté pour venir le voir préparer sa pate a Baklava. mes enfants ont bien aimé voir ca et nous aussi. Au cours de notres séjour, nous nous sommes promener dans les petites rues et c'était magnifique. nous étions tres bien situé. la plage se fait a 20 minutes de marches. Des parasols et transit sont dispponible pour 12 euro l'ensemble. les restaurants sont charmant, mais le menu est sensiblement toujours le meme partout. les prix sont abordable. je recommande cet établissement a 100%. merci pour notre séjour.

The house was great. We really enjoyed staying and would very much recommend it to anyone. One thing to mention is that we were a little worried about parking, and this turned out to be very easy.

Internet was a bit patchy.

Fantastic location quiet but only a couple of minutes from restaurants bars and shops. Traditional building renovated to high standards, fully equipped. Lovely hosts who run filo pastry bakery opposite, welcoming us past midnight when our flight was delayed. Great welcome pack so we had everything we needed for breakfast.

Meeting the owner who was able to show us through his property and explain how everything works, a little history lesson about the property was also great. The online photos do not do justice to this magnificent property, you need to visit to truly appreciate its history and beauty. The owner and his wife along with their awesome Baklava made our family holiday one to remember.

The apartment is amazingly furnished. The owner is friendly. Three floors, comfortable bedrooms, a nice terrace. The kitchen is well equipped.
