Formidable value for money

I recently had a pleasurable staying at Casa Alexia and I must confess that it exceeded all our expectations. Impeccably clean rooms, tastefully decorated living room, with modern amenities that made our stay comfortable and convenient. Oana, the host, was always ready to assist with any questions or requests, making me feel like a valued guest. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the barbecue facilities, well-maintained and stocked with everything we needed to grill up a delightful feast. The accommodation's location was also a plus. It was tucked away in a serene environment, allowing us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. In summary, our stay at Casa Alexia was a fantastic family-friendly retreat. The combination of comfortable lodging, picturesque surroundings and barbecue facilities made it a destination where everyone could enjoy themselves. We'll certainly and gladly return on warmer months to also make full use of the "ciubar" facilities.

The location of the cabin is splendid. The cabin was clean, cosy and very well equipped (including spices and plenty of accesories for the grill). We did not use the jacuzzi, but it is placed on a terrace with great view of the valley; for sure it is very nice and relaxing to enjoy the stars during the night. Instead, we used the fireplace during the night to enjoy the stars and the silence - very relaxing! The owners were very responsive and helped us with all the challenges or questions we had.

The road to get to the cabin is a bit difficult for low cars. There are aprox 200 m of rural road with rocks but we managed to do it with a super low car, without any issues. There were no nets for insects but we understood from the owners that these are prepared and will be installed in the near future. During our visit (aug 2023), there were some issues with the water, as it had a smell which made the shower not that enjoyable. However, we were told in advance that the water is not drinkable, so we went there prepared. The neighbours were very nice and offered us the possibility to take good water from their fountain.

Nice place with great views, nice surroundings for trips. Good communication with owner Oana, helpful local lady Melinda, friendly neighbors. Kids enjoyed the playground and hot tube. We appreciated very good mattresses - neither too soft nor too stiff.

Nice house with beautiful view. There is everything you need in the kitchen, barbecue, outside fireplace.(we didn't tryied the jacuzzy). There are many tourist attractions to visit in the area.

A hidden gem, a little paradise, carefully designed for a short getaway with your favorite people. We were very impressed by everything that this cabin had to offer and the seamless communication with the owners Oana and Dan who were committed to ensure us the perfect stay. From the 360 degree valleys and hills view that surrounded the cabin patio, to the cozy fire pit, the panoramic jacuzzi, the fully-equipped kitchen, the rustic-modern design of the living room with heated floor, every corner invited us to relaxation and left us in awe. We appreciated that the accommodation was spotless-clean, even though it is pet-friendly, an aspect which was the main criteria for our choice. Everything we needed was there and someone was checking up on us daily. There are some hiking options nearby. A grocery store is however further away.

Everything exceeded our expectation, however, you should know that it is easier to find the way to the cabin during the day, as the road to it is not very intuitive and a bit narrow.

Very friendly owner - even the neighbors. The house is very nice and surrounded by beautiful mountains.
