Lovely spacious and very modern home

Good location , everything needed in house for stay. Lovely house, beautifully decorated , comfortable beds and the three bathrooms and downstairs toilet a bonus. Great communication with owner.

Property is well maintained, with modern decor and comfy beds. The location is perfect as it is close to portstewart and portrush and was an ideal base for us. Flowerfields park is close by as well as the beach. Light in living room is lovely. House met our needs as we’ve stayed in this area many times before. Check in instructions were clear. Host responded when I messaged but contact throughout was very little so I cannot really comment on hosts communication / hospitality. We only messaged when needed and host answered queries. It is a lovely house with a good location and a good base to explore the area. In terms of eating out and take away, we always use chipmongers and flaming wok, meals in villa, the quays , Harry’s shack and amici are a must try and definitely worth booking in advance! Overall a nice enough stay for a few days with family even with the poor weather.

A welcome note in the house, or checking in would have added to this stay. Just a suggestion as it makes your guests feel welcome and always has added to our stay in properties. No real issues with property but I completely missed the £200 deposit stipulated in booking and that’s on me, it would help for it to be stipulated clearly upon booking as it is easily missed. The rule book in house was extremely off putting to us as a family. No food outside eating area, no food upstairs, £25 charge if heating is left on and pay for any damages. It felt very hostile and Uninviting (and I don’t think this is the hosts intention) Another big thing for us was the 10am checkout , extremely early and the request to strip the beds and leave all bedding in utility (whilst this is something we always have done) it shouldn’t be up to your guests to do this . These are merely suggestions following our experience of the house and all of this factored in would put me off booking again.

Great discription for entering the property, very well maintained & spotlessly clean, lovely furniture & decoration.

Nothing springs to mind about the property, maybe highlight that a safety deposit is required, but that’s nit picking.
