Adventure Bush House

Lovely, big house. All amenities provided. The location is perfect and not too far from the Kruger Park. Check in and check out we're smooth.

An incredibly great place that I already miss. We also miss all the animals, like the giraffes, that roamed around the house all day. We'll be back very soon.

The Lodge is beautiful and cosy. We only found the ensuite on the 2nd day as we though it was a wardrobe! The pool is nice with the waterfall and lights. The outdoor table under the thatch is great too aswell as the braai area. I would love to come again.

The place is needing some upgrading. The aircon can get very loud, the units upstairs vibrates down the wall into the main bedroom and woke us up at different times. Some of the electrical sockets are dangerous and aren't screwed back properly, in particular the upstairs bedrooms where the aircon units are plugged in with the lights. The room to the right had a loose connection I think as the aircon wouldn't turn on when my son plugged a charger instead of a lamp a potential fire hazard right there. The hot water didn't work the 1st morning. The maintenance guy said we need to run it longer. We tried that but still didn't work and a plumber came the next day and dis something with the Gas and got it back on. Still is a bit hit and miss though. The right up on booking.com said there would be champagne or wine but nothing was there. There was also no way of lighting the gas hob. It would also have been nice just to have some charcoal or firewood on arrival as we had arrived from the uk with nothing and would have been nice not to have to think and realise you need to go to the shop when it's already closed on your 1st night. The pool filtre is also leaking so the pool needed filling after a couple of days as the pu.p sounded like it was running dry. Also the pool was full of sand and took a day to get someone to come and clean it. Finally the kitchen work top needs replacing round the hob. Still an amzing lodge. Just could be so much better.

The location was fantastic. The house is nestled in the bush and you have animals right at your doorstep. A giraffe came past 1 day and walked right past our cars, stood eating leaves while just looking at us. The bushbabies in their house just above the door on the patio are very cute and entertaining. Various buck, Kudu, Wildebees, monkeys, hornbills, starlings, louries - lots of different wildlife come past the house and you enjoy the view while sitting on the patio. We even saw a Monitor Lizard walking past.

There needs to be another railing for the towels in the bathroom upstairs. The toilet was leaking when we arrived, but Wimpie had it fixed quickly. There are not enough bowls in the kitchen hence all 8 people can't eat at the same time. There is no toaster. There is a snackwich machine which we used to make toast but it flattens the toast which is not ideal.

The location, the free roaming animals, the rustic charm.

Pool leaked and creepy didn’t pick up sand, no gas stove lighter, kettle leaked, couldn’t get the TV to work properly, bedroom fan pretty wobbly and noisy and switch is broken.

The house is beautiful 😍 location wonderful and centered around everything, good value for money, very private and secluded, furniture was picture perfect everything looked as it was on the photos, the only problem is the house was dirty

The house was dirty, the under beds haven't been cleaned in what looked like months, the bedding didn't smell fresh, to a point where I developed skin rash around neck n ears, the floor had soil particles because it hasn't been swept or mopped in a while, the dust we understand because of the dirt road but the house hadn't been cleaned in a while or dusted, putting decorated towels on the bed doesn't mean clean 🤔 please address it with your cleaning people

Size, swimming pool and tidiness.

Hot water was playing up a bit so had to open and close taps several times during a shower for the hot water to come back on. No mosquito nets but the time of the year we went it weren’t a problem. No toaster but wasn’t an issue for us.
