Anjos's Choice

Anjos’s choice was the perfect place for our week stay in Madeira. It was clean, quiet, safe, and well located next to the beach with easy access to the highway. The kitchen was really well equipped with every pot, pan, utensil, appliance, etc you could think of. The host Joao was honestly one of the nicest people we have ever met, if we needed anything he was always there! He also had fresh fruit from his garden and some wine and local treats for us when we arrived. We could not have been happier with our stay here and when we come back to Madeira we definitely plan on staying here again!

Very cozy but spacious house with one terrace accessible from the kitchen and one on the roof. Beautiful view on the ocean and the banana palm trees. This was our first trip to Madeira and we were very happy we chose this accomodation. We arrived very late and tired from the trip, but the owner was very kind and left for us a very nice supprice like bowl of fresh fruits, bottle of madeiran wine and a bread. The house is very well equiped, absolutely clean and in a great location, thanks to which we were able to travel to any part of Madeira within 50 minutes. If we go to Madeira again (which I hope so) we will definetly stay in this house again!

Place is really nice. Roof terrace is grat to chill and looking at the ocean. There is a lot od space for car next to house. Joao is really kind and helpful. I truly recommend this place!

Modern yet very comfortable. The upper deck to watch sunsets and lower deck to enjoy dinner.

Perfect location! The home had all the necessities and more. The host was extremely kind and helpful. One of the best stays we have experienced.

Apt was beautiful. Had everything that you needed. Well organized. Joao met us with the keys and gave us instructions and helpful advice. Joao provided us with a wonderful welcome assortment of Madeira products. This place is a GEM! We will definitely stay here when we return to Madeira.

Where to begin?! We loved absolutely every little thing about our stay at Anjo’s Choice: - the host João is very kind and just a brilliant host. He surprised us with some presents, such as Bolo do Caco, Madeira wine, bolo de mel and much more… The house is a gem: -it’s (almost) brand new, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and the interior is not only tasteful but also high standard - the rooftop terrace with views on the sea, mountains and banana plantations - you will need to climb some stairs, but that shouldn’t be much of a problem for most people - the quiet location (you should have a car though) near Ponta do Sol and the main roads east and west - the small terrace, directly accessible from the house (no steps), perfect for an al fresco breakfast - the modern and comfortable furniture - the fully equipped kitchen with utensils and gadgets for almost everything (the only thing “missing” is an oven) - private parking on site (with gate) - washing machine - modern bathroom with great shower -A/C in both bedrooms, should you need them - everything is extremely clean This is easily the nicest house I’ve ever stayed in. Despite there being a second unit, this house is fully self-contained and chances are you’ll never see or hear the people staying in the other house. You should have your own transport though and like the quiet.

There is nothing at all we didn’t like! During the day there are plenty of cars and hikers passing by on their way to Cascata dos Anjos, which is only about 500m away. But we never felt disturbed by it.

This is a great property! We really enjoyed our stay. The views of the ocean and sunsets are great. We loved the patio area and ate our meals out there in the sun, and it was January! The bonus rooftop area was great too. The listing shows stairs, but you only need to use the stairs to go up to the private rooftop patio. There are no steps at all to enter the house itself. We were very comfortable with three adults there. Four would be fine, too. The bathroom is large and has a nice shower. There is plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The Wifi was fast and reliable. The kitchen is well appointed. The house is new, and it is extremely clean. This is a great place to stay on the island. We traveled all over and found rain, wind and clouds everywhere, even when the sun was shining at the house. You can make day trips to the other parts of the island. It is quiet here, too. We highly recommend this property. You won't find a more helpful host. He lives across the street and has a real pride of ownership. He is very helpful yet very concerned about giving you privacy for your vacation.

We arrived at night and thought we were lost when we came to the last tunnel. Just follow the directions and they will take you to the right place. You need to plan ahead for groceries. There are great grocery stores in Ribeira Brava or Calheta.

The house in total was perfect with all the facilities, great outside areas to enjoy the nice weather and amazing views and on a perfect central location on the Island. Easy to drive anywhere from here and in a 20 min walk from the centre of Ponta do Sol. Owner Joăo gave us a warm welcome and is a great help, there when needed and respecting your privacy...and spoiling us with his local grown fruits during our stay.

Excellent appartement, equipped with everything and more than you need. Very nice sea-view from the balcony and the rooftop terrasse. The sunniest location on the island, very central to reach all places on Madeira. A rental car is recommended to be flexible and mobile, the appartement has an own parking space, locked with a gate.
