Casa dos Platanos-Family Home

Ein wunderschönes Haus, abgelegen am westlichen Teil der Insel. Der Weg zur Unterkunft über Kilometer gesäumt mit Hortensien. Im Haus gab es was wir brauchten und Ana hat alles liebevoll vorbereitet. Der Garten ist wundervoll und Grill und Pool frei zu nutzen. Eine Waschmaschine hat uns über drei Tage ohne Koffer gerettet. Das Haus liegt total ruhig, die Straße ist sehr wenig befahren.

Die Fußböden im ersten Stock waren sehr laut und die Türen schließen nicht lautlos. Leider gab es auch viele Fruchtfliegen in der Küche.

Lovely house full of charm and character in a stunning location... the bed was really comfortable,we had everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is a small but well stocked supermarket a short walk away and a couple of cafes. Communication with Ana was really easy,lots of information at the house about where to visit.I would definitely recommend a stay here ☺️

Beautiful house with a chimney, super friendly host

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. We had 5 of us staying here and it was plenty big enough.

Nothing not to dislike.

The location was very convenient, and we loved that. And the house has tons of character which we also loved. The pool looked inviting but the weather wasn't conducive to using it but I suspect it would have been great :) The house was very near the market, a restaurant, the lake and to .40 euro daily fresh baked bread which was AWESOME (which we found out about from the locals, not the host).

The beds were VERY uncomfortable. In reading comments in the host's book at the home, it was mentioned MANY MANY times for the past years. The mattresses really are bad. Also, there isn't enough seating in the living room area. There is sleeping for 6 people but only 3 seats in the living room area. There were 2 other teeny chairs that were very small (like for kids or small adults). We were 4 small to average sized women and we had to alternate the sitting as the one on the tiny chair would get so uncomfortable! The oven door broke and we notified the host. There was no effort to ask if we needed the oven fixed quickly or to find out if it was an issue for us. The key to the front door had been broken by previous guests so we couldn't use it and had to use the back door during our stay.
