There is only one large bedroom, which makes it best for a large family.

A very quaint and artsy cottage! The inside is spacious and there are many facilities outdoors to enjoy as well. Thr sunset views are incredible. We only stayed one night, but it would be great for a group and for a longer stay. The host, Yuya, is very responsive and the house was sparkling when we checked in.

Such a unique house with lots of nice surprises. The property has full facilities and stocks that help your stay very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and attentive.

It was a magical experience staying in a beautiful Cob house for the first time. This accomodation was very well designed and seems almost like a cottage from a fairy tale. It has all essentials for a very comfortable family stay including a fully equipped kitchen, and kitchenware. Various beverage sachets and condiments for cooking was provided which is very much appreciated. The accomodation was also set in a nice open space which provided lots of room for children to expend their energy.

Every single nook and cranny showed the creative of the designer. Absolutely fascinating! There's even a pinball machine built into the wall. Wow. The kitchen was the most well-equipped one with everything well-thought out and considered. You can really tell the effort put in by the host and family. Everyone loved the projector Tv and wished we could have spent more time here. The host was very nice communicative too. Would love to stay here again and use the outdoor patios next time.

Would have enjoyed it more if the bedroom had air-conditioning or a more powerful fan. It became too warm to sleep soundly.

Everything was perfect. Yuya was very informative and easygoing. And the property was unique and designed with so many thoughtful details, which made us feel extremely lucky to be the guests. You have everything you need in the cottage. Kitchen bathroom, bedroom and the living room were all well-equipped. You have projector, nice heating and all clean cute plates you need if you cook. You also have a nice outdoor relaxing area to chat with you family. The cottage was also surrounded by nice views. You could see the ocean, the fields and the mountains from the living room window. Was an amazing experience!!

Lots of attention to detail and lovingly crafted.

The Tezukuri Cottage was magic. All of us were enamored with the handmade touches throughout the house—the wooden slide in the front yard, marble run in the bedroom, hidden Totoro in the bathroom. We were lucky to catch the spectacular view of the sunset from the front yard and from the bath. Our only disappointed was that we could only stay one night on this visit—we will 100% stay here again if we are able to return to Eastern Hokkaido.

It was too buggy in summer to enjoy the porch much, but so is most of Japan!
