Beautiful, quite and safe location

We choose this accommodation for 5 nights because of its location. It is a suitable base for trips to Wells, Bath, the Cotswolds villages, Avebury and Stonehenge. The house is located in a beautiful, private and secure complex. The parking lot is right in front of the front door. Worth mentioning are the well-equipped kitchen and the cozy living room with its high-quality leather sofas. The internet connection is very fast. There is a good grill on the porch.

The hot tub smelled very strongly of chemicals and we didn't use it. We had appreciated a working washing machine. There is a loud constant traffic noise from the thoroughfare next to the house.

We liked the layout of the property and its location. It had everything we needed for our stay and was beautifully decorated and clean. I enjoy the hot tub and there was a gas BBQ, although we didn't use it on this stay. There was plenty of outdoor seating. Shower was good. Great wifi for looking up things to do, and a box of information leaflets to give some ideas.

Pillows were a bit soft, but that's a personal opinion.

Hot tub, decking and BBQ

Lodge was amazing, couldn't fault it. Hot tub was great, had a BBQ, solar lights were a lovely touch of an evening. Men went fishing and caught loads of fish. Had all facilities in lodge, and good position for everything else is water sports, restaurants, diddly squat farm, Cirencester, Cotswolds wildlife park, Bourton on the water. Fabulous walks around lakes.

The location and Hosts

Radiator was falling off wall big great in a room with a toddler, hot tub takes 24 hours to warm up so unusable for first night not ideal in 2 night stay. Value for money would say very overpriced when you could go centre parks for same money.
