Creaky tired house, lots of maintenance needed, dishwasher and shower head broken

Location was beautiful, looking over the lake. Layout of the property was perfect for our needs. Excellent facilities with everything we needed. It was great to have evenings and breakfasts out on the decking. It was near all the places we wanted to visit in the daytimes. Easy check in, and clear instructions for everything. A perfect couple of days away for us.

Location and setting is fantastic. The property had all the neccessities and was nicely decorated. We had lots of automatic communications coming through and hosts were super responsive when we had an issue with the door jamming. The outlook onto the lake is lovely. Great water pressure and there is a hairdryer.

There was the wear and tear you'd expect with a well loved holiday rental but it is maybe is starting to look a little tired - which draws attention to some things which could have been a little cleaner (cushions, kitchenware, windows).

The unit was well organised and comfortably set up. Great view of lake.

Beautiful setting and house was clean but house needed alot of attention to damages. Not sure why Booking.com has automatically rated this as very good.

Very disappointed to find many broken things in the house and outside gate, which was dangerous should you have stayed with small children seen as they could have not only hurt themselves on the broken gate but they could have ended up in the lake opposite Table was broken and the whole thing wobbled from side to side. Front door lock was broken. Toilet roll holders broke when using them. Fridge shelf fell off when we used it. Broken mirror. Small chair fabric hanging down. Shabby storage box round the side with tiles in it. Floor tile broken and lifting up. Trip hazzard.
