This property is in a magical location, surrounded by lush mountains. There is a covered patio, so you can enjoy the scenery even in inclement weather. The layout was perfect, spanning two floors (bedrooms up and kitchen/living room down) The showers have great water pressure, and the kitchen is well-equipped with just about anything you may need. Our host was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. She even left us a little gift of traditional Madeiran cookies and cake upon our arrival.

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Der Grillbereich ist sehr gut, die Küche ist praktisch und mit vielen Küchengeräten ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ist gemütlich, es ist ruhig und sehr angenehm.

Schade, dass es keinen Kamin gibt.

We are a family of 4, with two teenagers, and the house was a perfect fit for us! It has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is great if you want to concentrate in hiking trips (as we did). The communication with owner was good and helpful.

May be one or two more frying pans would be good to add
