La Mandra, cottage tra gli ulivi

L'accueil est exceptionnel, chaleureux et généreux. Nous avons été gâtés avec les produits de qualité de la propriété : oeufs, miel, huile d'olives et toutes les gourmandises pour le petit déjeuner. L'appartement est très confortable et le panorama ainsi que les couchers de soleil sont inoubliables. Merci beaucoup à toute la famille qui est d'une immense gentillesse. Grazie mille !!!

Die Gastgeberfamilie ist ausgesprochen herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben zur Begrüßung ein Frühstückspaket bekommen mit frischen Eiern, Müsli, Kaffee und mehr. Die kleine Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und komfortabel. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man sieht das Meer und sitzt zwischen Oliven- und Zitronenbäumen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The very nice hosts, with a good sense of humor ;-), surprised us with breakfast goodies upon arrival. The somewhat remote location guarantees absolute peace and quiet. Thanks Ombretta for your hospitality.

Heel mooi verzorgd verblijf en super vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Prachtig uitzicht.

Helaas was de weg naar het verblijf heel steil en heel smal. Voor ons bijna niet mogelijk om met de auto rond te rijden. Wel met bus en trein gelukkig.

Geweldig verblijf gehad bij ontzettend gastvrije host en gezin. Alles was aanwezig en zelfs ontbijt stond klaar. Je krijgt alle privacy maar staan direct klaar bij vragen. Nogmaals dank, we hebben enorm genoten en wie weet tot ziens. We had a wonderful stay with incredibly hospitable hosts and families. Everything was provided, including breakfast. You have complete privacy, but they're always available for questions. Thanks again, we had a wonderful time, and who knows, we might see you again.

This was the most wonderful place to stay. Tonino, Obretta and family made us so welcome and added extras we were not expecting. Like the makings for breakfast. And we had the use of a wee pool which had a lovely terrace. There is so much space outside to use outside the place as well. We LOVED it. And the out look is stunning. Would highly recommend.

Take care driving up the hill as road is narrow. Only part that was a negative and nothing the owners can control. Fortunately when up the hill its quiet and leads to great views. M

We had an amazing stay at La Mandra! Ombretta and Tony were wonderful hosts and so welcoming and accomodating. Genuinely went above and beyond for us, which we were so grateful for. We started off our holiday on such a high staying here. Would 100% stay here again. The property is a little out of Vico Equense but we honestly loved the quiet and stillness after big days of exploring. Can walk to the closest bus stop for easy transport to the train or other buses to get to and from Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano.

Location coquette, confortable. Nos hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles. Un petit panier de bienvenue nous attendait pour les petits déjeuners. C'est agréable, très calme, au milieu des oliviers.

Il faut savoir que le temps de route pour aller à Vico Equenze est de 20 minutes par une route très escarpée. Elle est en train d'être totalement refaite. Après quelques trajets, on s'habitue.

Ospitalita Italiana in its best! Ombretta lifted her lovely place to a new level. Located in a wonderful surrounding of olive trees, on the hills of the Amalfi Coast, the cottage is spotless clean, equipped with much more than you would ever expect. Everything is arranged very thoughtfully and with respect and care to the natural environment. And all this, tastefully decorated in all the shades of the sea colour. The kitchen is very handy, all the appliances in perfect shape and a pleasure for the eye. Water was prepared in the fridge in glass bottles, with clear information how and where to refill, milk (even a vegan option!), crunchy muesli, cloth napkins and a tasting set of olive oil, honey and Limoncello from the farm. We have been spoiled with some farm produce too, the lemons and chicken eggs were such a treasure, thank you again! If you don’t feel like going anywhere (and you will!), you have a small pool and a shower over the cottage, placed under the olive trees, a small table with umbrella in front of the cottage. And all this tastefully decorated in all the shades of the sea colour, well taken care of. The kitchen is very handy, all the appliances in a perfect shape and a pleasure for the eye. Mosquitos protection in all the windows, shutters, washing machine, parking place which is big. The road and entrance may look very tricky to some, but we came with a pretty big car (Audi A6 combi), and it was absolutely not a problem to drive in and park. The family members are very friendly, welcoming, ideal hosts which will tell you some about their wonderful family farm if you wish to hear. Very discreet and helpful. If you miss your dog which is not travelling with you, there is Sara, a cute family dog, always ready for a cuddle and even a kiss! . Ombretta helped us with a restaurant reservation too, you should ask her for any recommendations. Perfectly working Wi-Fi which is a rarity nowadays.

The only issue with this place is the road leading to it. After a couple of days, we got used to it.
