Villa Filia

House is equiped with everything you might need, pool is cleaned regularly, house has housekeeper who cleans it every second day of your stay, backyard is big and spacious, there is a grill and outdoor shower, stabile wifi connection. Neighbourhood is peacefull and noise free, so you can really enjoy and relax. Beach is really nearby, 3 min walking distance, the beach is sandy, not crowded. Owner is a really proffessional, discrete and available all the time by viber, for any question you might have. We are so satisfied with everything, this is actually our best vacation ever and special thanks goes to Akis who made this villa - it is really a summer dream.

Nothing, everything was great

The location was great, a short walk to the beach and to local tavernas. Although if we didn't have a car we would have struggled for access to a big supermarket. Having a private pool was amazing too!

The villa has a system where the key fob needs to be placed in for the electrics to work, so when out for the day/night no tech charges and the AC systems shuts off. Also all doors and windows (apart from the front door) has a sensor to detect when they are open, and when opened the AC system shuts off, so when we were all out at the pool, to keep the villa cool we had to go in and out the front door, which is on the opposite side of the building to the pool. I understand this is all for saving energy and better for the environment but it was a bit of a pain, however you easily get used to this. Another thing to mention is there were SO many mosquitos around so make sure you have some repellant!

Everything, just a perfect place to stay wonderful pool, beach 5 mins walk away and a superb taverna right next door what more do you need x

Nothing it was perfect

Very cozy villa set in a piece of paradise. The green enviroment is really beautiful, with the lush mountains on the back and the sea on the front. The big pool was outstanding and really well maintained! Refreshing on a hot day. The location is superb, nearby great taverns and only a 3 minutes walk to a lovely beach! Thank you Akis for your hospitality, we had a magnificent time!

The villa was perfect for a completely relaxing family holiday. The inside space was larger than we expected from the photographs and it was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults. The outside area was gorgeous; lush and green with a fantastic (very clean) pool. Easy walking distance to the beach, tavernas and a shop. We hired a car which meant we could drive to the many local stunning sights. Akis (the host) was very kind and allowed us a late check out on our last day. I would highly recommend this villa.

Take mosquito repellent - nothing to do with the villa, but there are quite a few around at sunset (as in most countries!)

The house was in a wonderful private garden, and the pool was great. There were plenty of seating options outside with a covered terrace that offered welcome shade on very hot days. The house was very clean and comfortable, although the sofa was not so comfortable. We were a party of 4 and the house suited us. Nog sure how comfortable it doukd be with a 5th guest even lthough it says sleeps 5. The main bedroom downstairs was spacious. The air conditioning and mosquito screens were very welcome. Akis, our host, was charming and very welcoming. Overall a wonderful holiday home in a lovely peaceful location. The beach was 2 minutes walk and there were a number of nice tavernas with good food within walking distance. An ideal place to relax and recharge.

The sofa was not so comfortable but a very minor thing. And the beds were quite hard.

Location and pool were excellent. Close to beach. Fly nets on the villa were also very useful. Pool cleaning and maid service. Close to shops and good selection of supermarkets. Delielas. Owner very helpful and friendly. Local wildlife and rural location. Definitely will visit again. Owners recommended a visit to Corfu old town, it was definitely worth the time too.

Location is great. Near a few very good taverns and away from the really touristy parts of the island. Beach is a 5 min walk and it's located next to a quiet road. Private pool was reasonably big (according to my smart watch, roughly 14m long) and has a decent depth. Maid service was provided and the host was at our disposal all the time. The host provided chilled bottled water for us on arrival. Upstairs balcony is lovely. Good parking. Handy washing machine. Reception on EE and Vodafone was good and there is WIFI available. Host was flexible regarding arrival time as we had an evening flight from the UK. Set in a large garden with lots of loungers and a raised patio.

it is maybe 1/2 km away for a spa resort which plays music in the evenings but it's only really audible early evening when you really should be in one of the fantastic local taverns. It's really not a big deal at all, not intrusive if sitting outside and if you're staying in, the doors are very soundproof. Honestly it's not a reason not to book, just personal preference.
