The blinds in the bedrooms are awful and block no light - which is a problem when sunrise is around 4am!

Treetops Bungalow was extremely clean and very relaxing with a beautiful, soothing view in the back. The location was close to the places we wanted to go, including Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Inverness, and Culloden Battlefield. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious home-away-from-home feeling. Comfortable bedrooms & showers, roomy living room with eating area. Lovely patio & a stunning deck overlooking a rushing little river. I found the neighborhood charming! And the urroundings include spectacular hiking (3-4 mile loop) opportunities. Also, our hostess made two hiking suggestions (one near the property and one near the our next step on our trip) that were two of the highlights of trip through the highlands.

We had a brilliant time at the Treetops Bungalow. It was the perfect base for exploring Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness. Easy walking distance to the village, shops and restaurants and only 2 miles from Urquhart Castle. The bungalow was spacious and impeccably clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The seating area near the river was a bonus and such a tranquil place to sit and discuss the events of the day with a chilled glass of wine! Sarah greeted us when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and to give us some hints and tips on what to explore. The Loch Ness cruise is a must and the visit to Urquhart Castle brought the history of the area to life. And if you’re lucky you might get a glimpse of Nessie herself! Would highly recommend Treetops without hesitation.

This was a perfect place to stay when traveling with friends. We each had our own private bedroom with a private bathroom in each bedroom. The Hostess was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect for day visits to Culloden and Loch Ness. I would stay there again if I ever find myself in the area.
