What a fantastic location in the beautiful village of Jardim do Mar! There was wonderful hiking in the area and the views from our rooftop patio were amazing. we sat and watched the surfers with a morning coffee.

"Perfect stay to relax in the pool."

Very good location wit wonderful view of the ocean. Noce pool on the roof to chill everyday and very good equipment of the apartment. woof is also very good.

Shower could use some ventilation system.

"The best vacation stay I've ever had. Can't wait to come back"

We felt like we were in a private 5-star resort! The private pool rooftop and water views were breathtaking. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked and the bed was so comfortable. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Jardim do Mar is a quiet, charming small city with easy-to-find parking. Btw make sure to try the fresh lapa clams in this part of town! We saw divers bringing back the morning's large catches of fresh lapas and confirm they tasted better than the ones in Funchal. We were sad to have to leave and will absolutely come back to this property on our next trip!

The road connecting Jardim do Mar to Calheta was closed for construction and the alternative route was considerably longer and windier to drive on. It discouraged us a bit to drive for 30 minutes to go just 2km to the big grocery store in Calheta. Fortunately there were some local convenience stores that were easily accessible.

amazing location in the sweetest little town. Cool apartment with everything you need for a great vacation. the roof is the best!
