Partner and I enjoyed the quiet location and comfortable home away from home. Was perfect for unwinding after a busy year. Our furbaby enjoyed her stay too.

The cleanliness of the property was a bit disappointing. The braai in the kitchen area had not been cleaned and meat fat and sauce from a previous holiday'er attracted a lot of flies, which we easily handled with some dish soap and a sponge upon arrival. The rest of the place also just needs a deep clean as it appears to have only been lighty surfaced cleaned. The property also requires some maintenance, we could not make use of the outside furniture as it was all broken, which was also disappointing given the beautiful sunsets you see over the ocean from the patio.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful, thank you! She even offered to arrange a horse ride for my partner. She would be the highlight of this stay. The location is also nice.

The place is extremely dirty and run-down. A number of the windows mechanisms were broken and shook in the wind, unable to close. The fireplace bricks are loose, one falling on my foot while braaing, almost breaking it. The pets were welcome but the outside area is unmaintained and there were a number of times I needed to remove thorns from their feet. We did not have hot water until the second night as it had not been turned on for our stay and we were only told this the next day after we arrived quite late. This place needs some love and investment to restore it to its former glory as it no longer matches the photos on the website. The last low light was almost decapitating myself twice on the brick door frames as the doors are extremely low and small.

It would be nice if there was a walkable path and gate to the beach, and not a closed in fence.

Loved the isolation of the unit - reminiscent of a farm-stay, but at the coast. Loved the views over the sea. The little cottage was very tastefully decorated.
