Tanglewood Cottage

The cottage is a perfect bolthole for a stay in Norfolk. Close enough to all the main areas of interest but far enough that you have your own space and a home for the week. Full equipped kitchen for meals in, but equally local to plenty of places to eat (The Village Inn West Runton was pur favourite for a relaxed village pub close to the beach). We had plenty of space (family of 3 plus dog), and it really felt like home from home. We loved having our own enclosed garden, which was perfect for a toddler and a dog to run around in! Right on the doorstep is a wooded area that we had walks through and saw deer and chickens. The cottage is less than 15 minutes away from some really great (dog friendly) beaches, some sandy some pebbled, but as the weather wasn't for beech days we used them daily for dog walks and rock pooling. Less than an hour from Great Yarmouth where we went to the sealife centre and the arcades. 50 minutes into Norwich for shopping 20 minute from Cromer And we definitely recommend a boat trip (Barnes brinkcraft) which was a really lovely way to spend a morning. We were greeted on arrival and shown the cottage, the cake and teabags were a lovely touch and meant we could unpack and then relax with a cuppa. We would book the cottage and return to Norfolk again - thank you x

The weather! :) we picked the coldest week in June - but apart from the weather, there was nothing we didn't like!

Peaceful location. Private garden. Easy access to coast and National Trust properties.

Double bedroom rather small. Limited bedside space.

Location was perfect for an exploration of North Norfolk. The cottage was very comfortable and attractive.

It's a very nice cottage with all the facilities we needed. Nice enclosed garden to sit out in when the weather is warmer.

Perfect little cottage in a great location! Has everything you need. The hosts are fantastic! Homemade cake on arrival and a surprise prosecco to celebrate our new marriage was much appreciated 😊

A wonderful place to stay - cosy, warm, clean, comfy beds and a lovely enclosed garden for our dog to run around. Great location and woodland walks - a perfect place to relax. The milk and homemade cake on arrival were a lovely surprise.
