Everything was first class. Great communication with hosts. Amazing place with everything thought of. Superb natural swimming pond. Brilliant position.

Great comfirtable and clean house that was dog friendly. Kids loved the lake.

Great place, although a little dated inside and could get quite hot in bedrooms even with the fans.

Värdarna, så välkomnande och trevliga. Fantastisk damm att bada i, fin utsikt och generös och väldigt trevlig lägenhet som var välutrustad och väldigt fin. Grillplats, utemöbler, tvättmaskin och alla tänkbara bekvämligheter. Studsmatta, trädkoja samt badleksaker till barnen som älskade det här stället. Det ligger väldigt bra till för dagsutflykter mot Abel Tasman. Näta till butiker mm.

Everything we needed, lovely location, wonderful hosts going above and beyond to accommodate, lovely little lagoon to swim in at any time - very relaxing break.

The beds were clean.

Extremely disappointing and easily one of the worst stays we’ve had. The heat pump in the bedroom had a serious mechanical fault and made a loud vibration every 30 seconds even when completely switched off, making sleep impossible. We reported this at 9:20am and nothing was done all day. The property contact for emergencies was a tenant pretending to be a “maintenance man,” who turned up hours later after claiming he'd fallen asleep for the afternoon. Upon me complaining to this person I was given the response "im just a paying guest like you". The owner didn’t respond until late at night to say it wouldn’t be fixed. We were left for two nights i unable to sleep and no usable air conditioning. Relocating late at night wasn’t feasible. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner blamed us with false claims about “leaving lights and the heat pump on,” even though we turned the external switch off at 5am to try to stop the noise. Their $100 offer was insulting considering the disruption, stress, and completely uninhabitable room. The property itself was poorly maintained. All outdoor furniture was dirty and covered in cobwebs, the BBQ's smelled foul and were coated in grease, and equipment around the pool was old and falling apart. The advert is misleading, there were people staying in an apartment directly below us and in two static caravans on-site, none of which was disclosed. To make matters worse, the owner was away for the weekend and left their three dogs unattended. They barked through the night, adding yet another layer of noise and disturbance. There is also a refuse station adjacent to the property which is very noisy. The listing claims “exclusive use,” yet the owner’s friends arrived with several children and used the pool facilities we had paid for.

Breakfast was not provided, nor did we expect it. Great lounge and dining areas for our group of 6 women. SPECTACULAR views of the countryside and mountains (and grazing sheep).

Only 1 toilet. Steep external stairway up to “apartment.” (It’s not really a house).
