Casa Monte Salema

I cannot recommend staying here enough. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly, they even gave restaurant and beach recommendations which were all great. The accommodation was modern, clean and contained everything we needed for our stay. Our little boy really enjoyed playing on the slide and exploring the stunning garden. Location is perfect for exploring the areas more secluded beaches, and there are great restaurants in the nearby village and Sagres, only a short drive away. The real highlight of the trip was Luis, the host’s father, who spends hours every day looking after the beautiful garden and growing delicious fruit and veg which he encourages you to help yourself to. What a lovely man as well

I can’t fault it at all, it was the perfect stay

Never wanted to leave this amazing place, which felt like home. The owners are not only extremely friendly and communicative, but are also a big help with everything! Luis definitely is one of the kindest and helpful people we’re ever met and welcomed us daily with a big smile. The apartment is super clean and offers more than needed!

Everything is great!

The location was wonderful as it was out in the country, but still very close to everything. The host is such a lovely lady and her dad does the gardening; which is an incredible vegetable garden which he tends to so well, and gives the guests lots of fruit and vegetables to enjoy. Overall a wonderful experience. The kids also loved the playground and open space to run around and be free.

The place is near Sagres and not too far from Lagos which are very beautiful cities in the Algarve in Portugal. We liked especially the modern architecture of the building and that everything is very new and clean. Our accommodation was great as a couple. If you like to surf in the area this place is also very recommended. You can also find lovely restaurants nearby. Don't forget to have a rental car if you want to go there. You also have a parking spot on the area which is gated.

The accommodation is nearby a road and you can here the cars when you relax on the outside.

Great little appartment in Vila do Bispo, brand new, close to several beaches, perfect spot for surfing around Algarve. The family renting the appartment lives next door and was absolutely adorable and welcoming. We had gifts waiting for us and they were so kind as to offer us to share their dinner on Christmas evening when all restaurants were closed. There is a great vegetable garden and we could have fresh produce for a soup and some fruit. Great to be able to use bikes and we had everything for our 1-year old baby too (bed, bike chair, etc.). We strongly recommend this place and we'll come back for sure.

Nothing really!

Very nice and comfortable new appartment, beautifully decorated. The bed was the best since our 3 months trip! Although the owners, a lovely young couple with kids, live right next door, there was a lot of privacy. The garden is beautiful, we much appreciated the fresh vegetables they picked for us (and ofcourse the freshly baked bread!) The appartment is centrally located for visiting this southwest corner of the Algarve and for walking or cycling (there are 2 mountainbikes to use) right from the door. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. The accomocation is dogfriendly and the area around is perfect for walking the dog. There are several options to make a short or longer roundtrip. We loved the scenery around.

Although the appartment is located on a quiet road, it is next to the main road to Sagres. The roadnoise was almost constant and you could hear it inside. We are not used to this (we don't live near a road) and it scared our dog, specially in the evening when it was dark, it gave him a lot of stress. However, at night it was not a problem because the traffic was very quiet then. And after a few days we get used to the noise a bit more. But because the apartment and the owners are really exceptional, this makes up for the traffic noise and we would choose this again next time. The wifi was ok to check e-mail and websites, but not to work online or to have an online workmeeting. We had to use our phone hotspot for this.
