Ledakis House with Jacuzzi

Ci siamo sentiti a casa, anzi in una suite 4 stelle vista la presenza della jacuzzi con cui abbiamo compensato il caldo di quei giorni. La casa era dotata di ogni confort, la spiaggia vicina, saremmo voluti rimanere molti più giorni di quelli prenotati. Artemis e Giorgos sono padroni fantastici e hanno una bellissima famiglia, la loro Taverna Ledakis nei pressi del Castello è stata tra i posti migliori in cui abbiamo mangiato. Ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore.

Frangokastello is very special. Every summer in Crete, we spend a few days there, no exceptions. The village is simple, nothing fancy compared to the much more popular spots on the island. For restful holidays, there is no better place though. Ledakis House is the best place we stayed at in Frangokastello in the last few years. The hosts are a great family that would do everything to keep us happy. It's within walking distance to our favorite places, Orthi Amos beach and taverna Akti. With luck we will return next year too.

Winds in the south can get quite strong and loud. Nothing to do with the house, it's just how it is.

Amazing and very spacious house . Excellent for families . It felt like our own home back home when relaxing with the family at night ! Our family of 4 with 2 young children had the most incredible stay for 9 days. Very clean facilities with multiple cleanings throughout the stay. Stunning views from all the various balconies and terraces . Just steps away from one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Sfakia - Orthi Ammos - and a short 2 minute drive to the castle and beach of Frankgokastello . The owners George and Artemis were very responsive and attentive and would respond within minutes. Top notch hospitality and company. They also rent their own rooms Ledakis Studios also in Frankgokastello, which is attached to their own taverna/restaurant. Our children absolutely loved the playground and toys there. Undoubtedly one of the best if not the best tavernas in all of Frankgokastello and Sfakia with home cooked food, gyro and grilled local meat. Their tsikoudia and personal Cretan olive oil are a must try. We were so happy to have found it for rent this year. We will be back and are already counting down the days until next summer!
