Cozy 4 Bedroom Home Blocks to Main Street and Wineries

We loved our stay at Grape Expectations-a beautiful 4-bedroom, 3-bath home in Fredericksburg! It was spotless, spacious, and had the perfect layout for our group of 7 women. The house was not only cute and cozy, but also incredibly functional—plenty of space for all of us to get ready for a wedding. The location was ideal—just a short drive to Main Street, wineries, and the wedding venue. Highly recommend for a girls’ trip or family getaway!

Very close to everything and nice safe neighborhood. Second time there and I'm sure we will be back.

Back yard was in desperate need of mowing! Motley weeds, very little grass. Most of the yard was between 10-12” tall.

Comfortable

A trip hazard, between the laundry room and the kitchen, several kitchen GFI outlets were not functioning. Although, at first glance, the home appeared to be clean , we he encountered globs of black hair. I took pics if interested

Great house!

Everything was great. I had to change my reservation a bit and the host was able to do it, so I thank them for that. Everything was very clean and tidy. Instructions were clear. Location was great and close to town. Had a Keurig for the coffee and a drip coffee maker.

I marked a little down because the beds are extra firm. I think a gel type of firm. Wasn't good for me, but some may prefer a firm bed.

Lack of communication with Rental people . Asked if they allowed cat as we were evacuating from Hurricane beryl and they didn’t answer no until we were already almost there . Had washer and dryer which was nice however no instructions as to how to use it. Lower cabinets in the kitchen wouldn’t stay closed . So many flies we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space . Description said they had board games and a high chair so my daughter didn’t bring hers but there was none of either and when I asked they eventually got back to us with they weren’t sure why it said that as they had neither at that location . Just felt like a lot of money for it being what seemed like an old home that was in need of repairs and it wasn’t as Close as it sounded to Main Street .

The location was good. Not in the mainstream but close enough to get us to special locations on Main Street. They even provided charcoal for barbequing. That was so cool. We were so impressed we left a full bag behind to compensate.

The plugs in the kitchen area had to be set when we arrived. I am a licensed electrician and had no problem resetting the plugs. Others may not be as knowledgeable. This was not a problem but a suggestion to check that the last occupants did not blow a fuse or electrical outlets which is easy to check.
