Modern Airy Chalets on popular California Sands Holiday Park - short walk to beach, Nr Norfolk Broads & Great Yarmouth

We liked the area. The chalet is situated in good space and it was cosy. The chalet had most facilities but it was a little dusty / cob webby when we arrived and there were a lot of cigarette butts right outside the door and windows. If they weren’t there it would be a lot more pleasant sight.

The chalet had everything that we needed, absolutely great. Great storage to be able to unpack. Kitchen with everything needed, TV had freeview which was great for the evenings. Very clean and plenty of towels. Free access to the swimming pool was a big bonus. The pool is very new and clean and a great size. The little grocery store was very handy and well-stocked and the food from the fish and chip shop on site was great and very reasonably priced. We had parking only a few metres from the chalet. The location of the park is so handy to the beaches and close to the Broads. Would have loved a washing line outside like some of the other chalets, but it was no biggie.

The bed was nice and soft, but every time one of us moved the whole mattress moved.

Not a lot.

When we got there it wasn’t ready. The cleaners were still in there and we had to sit outside for an hour why they finished . We then went in and floor was Sandy. Stickers on walls and doors from previous people. Draws in second room completely broken , fridge was missing draws and broken.
