Ribbonwood Treetops cottage

The cottage is very well equipped, it is cosy and ideal as a base to explore the area or just relax including on the large sunny deck. It is great that, with prior permission, one can take your well behaved dog for a small fee. Plenty of parking This was the third time we have stayed in the cottage and hope to do so again in the future. Excellent host who responds promptly to any queries.

Beautifully set up cabin, in a lovely quiet location, close enough to Napier/Havelock for dinner trips. Both rooms are exactly the same size so great for shared accomodation. Our friends loved the running loop suggestion, and getting the amazing views along the track suggested.

Lovely quiet location with amazing bird life all around. Well appointed rooms and everything you need to self cater and relax. Super comfy beds and pillows with high quality linen.

Only two minor things, so minor it really just equates to the difference between a fantastic rating and an outstanding one. The hot water ran out after two showers, possibly someone took a longer one than they said they had but with 4 guests was a little disappointing. The air-conditioning units in the bedrooms were a super exciting addition but despite setting them to cool on the lower temperature they didn't actually have any cooling effect on the closed bedrooms even wiith curtains shut and running for several hours and windows and doors closed . No drop In temp at all. We have the same unit at home which on the same setting would usually make for a freezing cold large lounge with high ceilings. Don't get me wrong, the positives of the location and facilities far outshone the minor issues noted!!

Lovely location and well equipped with most things needed for an enjoyable stay.

We have two teenagers (boy/girl) who did not want to share a bed. Having a spare set of bedding for the couch would have been helpful or alternatively, the chance to separate the bed into two singles.

Quiet, private space that allowed dogs. It was perfect for us.

Just the issue with hot water but appreciated the prompt response and solution. Thank-you

hard to find the individual cottage

Beautiful home. So comfortable and well decorated. Loved the en suite bedrooms and outside seating area. Location had stunning views. Set in the hills and a short uber ride away from Havelock North. Loved our stay here!
