SUNNYSIDE COTTAGE HUTTON LE HOLE NORTHYORKSHIRe

Delightful cottage, cosy, comfortable and beautifully situated! We had a wonderful long weekend; lovely walks from the door, good pubs and really peaceful. We loved our stay, Many thanks Emer and family

Great location. Hutton Le Hole is a lovely town surrounded spectacular country . The cottage is walking distance to town and very quiet for a relaxed stay

It could do with updated appliances and a thorough clean . It smelt damp when you opened draws etc

The location, the 'quaintness' of the house and the garden was good. The children really enjoyed playing in the stream when the weather allowed. The kitchen was well equipped.

We were staying for a whole week as a family of 5, (Grandparents, mother and grandchildren), and had brought provisions to start us off. It was good to see a fridge and separate freezer but disappointing to find every cupboard was full so it was necessary to rearrange to store our packets, tins etc. Many of the cupboards had assorted cleaning materials (duplicated) We would have welcomed more information about the cottage. There was a damp smell in the house and the pile of towels left in the downstairs bedroom felt damp to the touch. The listed tumble dryer in facilities did not exist. We did enjoy our visit to Hutton le Hole even though the weather was not wonderful.

Location excellent, cottage was lovely throughout & had a well equipped kitchen.

Room temperatures were not acceptable. Although there was an open fire, the whole cottage was very cold as the storage heaters did not give out enough heat to feel comfortable & the mattresses were damp due to cold air. One member of the holiday party, (myself) has underlying health issues, which being cold i may have become very unwell.

Lovely cottage (bigger than we expected) in a gorgeous location with circular walks from the property. A pub, museum, tea rooms & lovely school house coffee shop all in the village. Cottage has a cosy feel with open fire, cottage always warm, lovely garden (can imagine would be a lovely area for a bbq in summer). Everything we needed we found in the kitchen. A really peaceful stay.
