The Bamboo Bungalow

As advertised and thus as expected and well deserves its many recent 5 star reviews. Hurricane Helene badly affected the whole region sadly and there is obvious evidence still of massive uprooted trees all around the local city. Getting cable internet back to the culdesac small group of houses, etc where the stay is; will take time. The owner was very good in flagging this ongoing problem. The stay had a great, well set up, full kitchen with many thoughtful cooking supplies. The full sized clothes washer and drier were also key reasons that we booked here. This was week 7 of our 8+ weeks of following the USA Fall colours. The nice towels were also very much appreciated. Lots to see in the local area and I can see why many stay here for many days.

The two sets of steps and some of the more basic paving up from the car park could be a problem to some. A handrail on the lowest steps there would help. We dragged our large suitcases up to the house’s rear door across the grassy slope.

The inside was super nice and updated.

It was a little confusing getting there using the GPS. Not sure if there were road closures but super confusing.

Location was away from traffic on a small gravel street. Private.

The street notification could have been better, but not the fault of the owner of home.

The property was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The location in relation to historic down town was excellent. The back patio was very pleasant for morning coffee and evening conversations.

The location itself was a bit unusual at a dead end road, next to a not well kept property. There is only one wine glass. The white leather furniture is very uncomfortable for sitting. One keeps sliding down and out.

It was the perfect size, ( 2/2) with two TV well stocked very clean, good location, modern … One issue (Easily corrected ) was one of the two showers should be a handheld magnetic removable shower head as it is difficult to clean body parts ,If you are a little person and have a tall showerhead this can be very important if you’re with a child or handicapped or not …also the second walk steps out to the car are on a slanted driveway was difficult to maneuver, especially in wet weather as it has no railings, and a small point was none of the batteries candles actually had batteries AND the dishwasher had no the soap for it …but believe me, I am picking at it was a great experience. Perfect for my family. And we were delighted!!!

The few minor things that we mentioned above but overall really good and well managed property even the birds are happy !

The property was super clean & very comfortable. Great value for the money. Close to downtown Hendersonville & other location attractions. We will book again in the future.

It was perfect for us. No complaints.

Facilities were excellent. It would be easier to leave back door open rather than use password for unlocking.

Great location and really great use of space in the home - 800 square feet sounded small to the four of us, but it was just perfect.

I wish the steps from the driveway had a handrail - it rained while we were there and was an easy slip hazard.

Everything was excellent Wish there was a railing by first set.of stairs Lots of little touches were appreciated

Everything was fantastic except I walk.with a cane. Used back door for entry Difficult for someone using a cane to get in the cottage
