Dockside

Location, warm hospitality of the hosts , they responded immediately when we needed anything, the 3 bed cottage is very spacious and perfect for a family holiday, Kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs, we had visitors who came to watch football world cup with us , Pat was kind enough to offer us additional crockery and cutlery to cater for all of them, and they didnt even complain about the noise. Thandie was amazing as she helped us to keep the place tidy. Pat and Des were great hosts.

Place has a damp smell which can be a bit overwhelming especially if you're staying for a week, other than that I can't fault it or the hosts. Just for clarification, picture of the property is accurate , it's the white house but it is across the road from the docks.

Location is the best.

Couches not comfy, dirty. Lounge needs a bit of tlc.

The house was clean and big enough for 4 adults.

The hostess(Pat) was extremely rude! From the day of arrival until our early departure. On the first morning, we didn't have hot water. Reported to her via a phone call whereas she's in the same property, (she couldn't come and see us as her guests as she claimed to be sick. Even though we saw her outside). The water issue was not sorted, she continued to be rude over the phone making it seem like we are stupids not knowing how to switch on the hot water. We then couldn't take her terrible attitude and decided to cut the stay short. We requested a refund of the remaining evening, even during that process we had to fight with her. She said she did the transfer however money has not yet reflected in my account. Pat is a really horrible host. I wouldn't recommend anyone to book there. Also, the property is not at the dockside as described when making the booking. It's hidden in the bushes.
