Top Lage, fußläufig zum Strand (5min) und zum Aussichtspunkt (10min)!

Leider riecht es sehr nass-feucht/modrig. In der Wohnung steht ein Luftentfeuchter, diesen hatten wir außer während des Schlafens rund um die Uhr laufen. Wir haben innerhalb von drei Tagen über 12 Liter Wasser aus dem Gerät gegossen. Die Holzschränke riechen ebenfalls alle sehr feucht. Wohnung ist insgesamt eher dunkel.

Die Lage am Starnd ist einfach toll. Wir sind barfuß direkt zum Strand gelaufen. Vom Haus aus kann man unmittelbar zu mehreren Wanderungen starten.

Das Haus ist durch die Meernähe recht feucht. Dafür gibt es einen Luftentfeuchter, der schnell hilft.

I used this as a base for hiking nearby stretches of the Fisherman's Trail. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly; she was very patient with my logistical questions arising from traveling without a car. The upstairs bedroom is a lovely space with windows on two sides, wooden floor and an eclectic library including books in English and German. The shower was great with good water pressure and hot water which I appreciated after long hikes along the coast. The location is described as being close to the beach. It's better than that. The walk to the beach is through a beautiful natural setting. In literally one minute you're on the Fisherman's trail, with trail markers in both directions. The beach is wild, entirely undeveloped. Because of the proximity I walked to the nearby rocky point three times in four days - rain and sun, dawn and dusk. It seems to be a quieter place to surf than nearby Arrifana.

The arrival guide needs updating, WiFi details completely wrong, no instructions on boiler for hot water, seating a little uncomfortable, stairs to bedroom needs full concentration, be careful at night. Just a clear welcome pack is needed, that's all...

A casa é ideal para umas férias calmas em casal: é acolhedora, totalmente funcional e equipada e confortável. A proprietária (Maria) e a funcionária (Dina) são muito prestáveis e simpáticas. Pensamos em voltar sempre que possível!

Das Apartment ist gut, zweckmäßig eingerichtet, und sauber. Zum Atlantik waren es nur ein paar Minuten. Ein großer Sandstrand ermöglicht Baden und Surfen. Wanderungen sind an der Küste und den Klippen möglich, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gaststätte sind in der Nähe.

Einiges, v.a. ein Stock-/Schimmel-Geruch, der auch nach mehrstündigem Lüften nicht wegging. Die Treppe zum Bett ist absolut gefährlich!!! Als Vermieter könnte ich selbst nicht ruhig schlafen. Wird seit Jahren von anderen Gästen angemerkt. Absolutes No-Go! Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen.
