Forest house for family

The place is surrounded by a forest - it really added to the feeling there. Very pleasant for me and unique. Also, the kids enjoyed the ponds - catching frogs and trying to catch a fish, however unsuccesfully :) A nice experience was listening to the gramophone and it was really nice to play table games.

We would have appreciated more towels left. Also a shower needs a door or a curtain so the water does not get into all the bathroom (especially after kids:)). The floor is cold (stone), so it is a good decision to have slippers. And the water from the tap has an unpleasant smell.

We stayed here in the summer for (unfortunately only) two days during our visit to Lithuania, and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. The house is located in a lovely birch and pine forest, with two ponds and a large garden. Blossoming water lilies, frog songs, and dragonflies provide a peaceful countryside retreat. The house itself is spacious, well-built, and well equipped. Hot water, air conditioning, good wifi, and anything else you might need for a short or longer stay. It is decorated with taste. We had a family gathering one of the evenings, and there was plenty of room and kitchenware to accommodate 7 guests. The host, Tomas, is very friendly, helpful, and responsive, and answered any questions we had. We will definitely come back here when visiting Lithuania next time!

A guitar for the campfire would have been nice 🙂
