The location is fantastic. Panoramic views of Achill Sound from the house and garden. Sea swimming in the Sound 30 seconds from the front door. Piping hot water in the modern showers afterwards. Walking distance to the only supermarket on the island and (almost as importantly) pub. Walking distance to bike rental and greenway. Short drives to all major scenic spots - and there are loads of them - on the island. House was cleaned to hospital standard. Well equipped kitchen with everything you'd need to make a super dinner. Atmospheric electric stove in the living room. We'll be back for sure.

Barr an Uisce was like new ! it felt like we were the first to use it ! communication was exceptional with owner, we absolutely fell in love with the house and the location so much so we are booking again ! five stars ⭐️

"Great week exploring Achill Island from the perfect base."

Fantastic property, great location, excellent view. Very spacious with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Property very clean and finished to a high standard. David was extremely helpful in advance of booking and during our stay. Would highly recommend a visit to Achill Island and worth the extra few pounds for this property for comfort and luxury after a day of exploring the island.

"Perfect stay after touring around Ireland."

New house with all rooms and facilities perfect. Location was beautiful looking across the Achill Sound to the mainland and also a five minute walk into the main village on the Island, Achill Sound.

Nothing not to like.
