"Lovely weekend break away in a comfortable cosy property, just a short walk from the town centre."

It was warm and cosy and really close to the Hebden Bridge, about 15/20 min walk down the channel path. It was ample size for a few people and facilities were good.

The mattress in the main bedroom is a bit tired and could do with replacing.

Owner trying to blame us for a flood - we dropped bags off parked up (not good for parking) went into Hebden Bridge returned to the place with water coming through the ceiling - trying to blame us for tap left on upstairs - didnt try to re accommodate more concerned about the building - we ended up having to drive home with email from booking.com blaming us for damage - may I suggest the cleaner or previous person in the building left a tap running - and we got the blame.

"Short and well formed. Lovely old cottage a nice walk from the centre of town."

Breakfast wasn't provided. I had originally intended to book a B and B, but they were uncommunicative, so I booked the cottage and could cater for myself.

The steps were a bit steep, but that's more to do with my age, than anything else!
