Heaps of space

Great location. Good sized house with plenty of space. Lots of stuff in the house so if you forgot something random it's likely there. It kind of felt life we were staying in someone's full time home... that was a bit weird.

There was a used nappy in one of the drawers. It stunk. The plugs adapters four USB charging doesn't work (has brought our own but doesn't use them in favor of the ones there and only realized it wasn't charging too late. Tumble dryer ONLY works if you stand there and hold the door shut. The moment you let go of stops. There was almost no toilet paper provided and that left us short. By the time we realized it late evening and the shops were closed. No dishwahing liquid. No mention that the property needed cleaning by us before we left. Found that out just days before checking in. Which was quite ironic given how we found the home. I felt the landing at the top of the stairs is an accident waiting to happen and the stairs are very narrow and that makes them quite steep. The panty was full which meant there was no space for our food to go. Freezer was half full and fridge was partially used too. Most windows are not double glazed which want a problem for us but I couldn't imagine how cold the place would be in winter Back door broken and not usable(has note on the door). Also has a crack across it that let's in a draft Two out of the three bedrooms did not have have curtains on one of the two windows and the kids room big window curtains didn't meet in the middle so there was a large gap on the main window as well.

Quiet clean compact decent

The laundry was disappointing, one of the two appliances advertised was not operating, found what looked to be a birds nest in the lint holder part of the dryer. Felt like this small yet necessary part of the booking could have been avoided or at least communicated to myself before my arrival.
