The picture need to be updated because it not the same when you get there but other than that is was great also you couldn't go to the creek because it was grown up and you could get bite by a snake

Cleanliness and relative location to our activities in Berkeley Springs were the site’s best features. We were unable to take advantage of all the amenities since we were busy throughout our stay, but for folks who are looking to “stay close to home,” the site has considerable potential.

By far, our biggest complaint was the diff. between the Booking.com site photos and the site. Any experienced traveler realizes that accommodation photos are designed to put a location’s best foot forward, within reason. In this case, we found the photos pretty deceptive for a lot of the site. We have no way of knowing but it certainly appears that whomever does maintenance and updates here is failing the property’s owner. The entire facility is rundown and needs some focused upkeep to be considered anything more than a “decent” place to stay. Will break this down by area. Loft BDRM: pretty much as shown except for a missing drawer on the clothes cabinet. Main Flr: adequate and in generally good shape save for a missing dining table light fixture (only a wall mount remains), a sliding door handle held in place with a loose drywall screw, screen doors derail easily, a dangling upper cabinet door, and a dead coffee machine. The housewares are mismatched and insufficient for a unit in this price range. Ground level: BDRM and BR were only adequate, while the common space is not furnished at anything like the quality shown in photos. Window shades do not work well and one broken window has been fixed with duct tape. The Deck: Needs refinishing and most of the outside furniture is worn. Did not use propane grill. Hot tub: Not used but rocking chairs shown are not there. Campfire Area: Not well kept as photos. Views/Surroundings: Adjacent forest is not scenic w/ fallen trees/dead growth. Primary view due West off the deck includes high-tension power lines and their towers. General items: Heat and hot water work great., as did the laundry. Did not need the A/C, nor the wood stove. It is not inexpensive to keep up a site like this. At this point it needs a considerable investment to match its onsite descript. A fair guide for this area: Well-maint. site: $310-355; Ave. cond.: $270-285; Neglected: $155-215. This site: $220-$240 if broken/in-op.

Home was clean, and provided toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, shampoo, dish and washer detergent and laundry supplies. Hot tub was relaxing, beautiful property and scenery. very quite off the beaten path. provided detailed information on what was around the area to do. Host was very easy to work with and contact.

That we couldn't stay longer

location was great. we enjoyed staying in the cabin. it was calm and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub. A great edition for guests who want to relax and enjoy outdoor at the same time. i highly recommend this place.

Master bedroom needs a portable AC instead of fan. the room gets hot real quick if kitchen being used for cooking.
