Domus Dino

L’intérieur de l’appartement était propre, mais il y avait des déchets dehors dans le stationnement.

L’extérieur était sale. Le stationnement rempli de déchets avec une vue sur un hangar (pas très attrayant). Nous avons communiqué avec les hôtes (firme de location impersonnelle) a quelques reprises pour les informer de problèmes que l’on avaient et ils n’ont jamais répondu. Il y a de l’eau qui coulait dans l’appartement venant de la toiture. De plus, nous avons eu une serviette chacun pour un séjour de 5 nuits et 6 jours. Nous avons demandé d’en avoir un peu plus et pas de réponses de la part des hôtes, donc très déçus. Il manquait des verres pour l’eau et d’autres équipements de cuisine. Nous n’avons pas été capable de dormir car l’appartement se situe au dessus d’un bar. Vendredi soir, les gens ont fêté très tard jusqu’à 4 heures du matin.

Pas de lampe de chevet. Un peu de bruit le soir à cause du bar d'en dessous.

Very well located. Very appreciated parking spot. The flat is big, it was clean. View and location are great. The host was very nice.

The bed comfort could be improved. The mattress are very thin.

The location was excellent and we loved the closeness to the village and the sea! The house was comfy and had all we needed for our 3 day stay. Sea views were also a grat bonus :)

All was fine, but the main living area would feel cosier if there were some small side lamps to create nice atmosphere in the evenings. Not complaining really, just a suggestion for the host to make the accommodation even better ;)

We hadn’t stayed in Porto da Cruz before, it’s a quaint little surf town on the coast. The house is older but in a great location for anyone who wants to get around without using a car. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the beds were really hard so be prepared. Check out Dino’s Bar right under the house, fantastic poncha and a nice location for walking.

The property is right next door to a bus stop (on both sides of the street) so the sound from the buses gets old after a while. Also be prepared for a loud church bell that goes off every hour and half hour - obviously not terrible things, but not good things if one is sensitive to loud noises.

The location was perfect just a 15 minute ride from the airport and taxi was the best choice for 25 EUR. The town is surrounded by nature, beach is within five minute walk (with surf school and rent). Food store, farmacy, bank machine, bar, church, bus stop.. just one minute walk, and there are about five restaurants with great food and service. The flat was nicely equipped, clean and with all the kitchenware for cooking. Our host was kind and very helpful and was already waiting for us with the keys when we arrived. Our stay was simply the best and we could not hope for more. Thank you!
