Only one place open consistently so not much choice.

The local pub was very disappointing. Not enough staff. We didn’t feel very welcome really. Otherwise locality was lovely and beautiful. Harbour toilets were very well maintained and the beach was very clean with just one small area with rubbish dumped. Beach was fantastic for walking and the sea nice to swim in apparently.

Lovely comfortable, cosy and warm house. Had everything we needed. Included little touches like milk in the fridge, olive oil, paper towels etc.... things that make a big difference in self catering accommodation. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome with a lovely fresh loaf of home baked bread.

Nothing to dislike, at all!

A lovely, comfortable and characterful cottage. The hosts went above and beyond to make us welcome and cater for our needs. Kilmore Quay and its environs are beautiful.

The actual cottage is beautiful, the decor is in keeping with the cottage, was very cosy and comfortable, everything in it, was like going from home to home, even if you forgot something it was there!! the facilities are unbelievable. We got a very warm welcome from Vonnie, she was so helpful, and some freshly baked bread on arrival 😀

Everything was exceptional no complaints,

We had a delightful stay at Bluebell Cottage. It is such a quaint cottage, lovingly restored in the village. It is very warm and cosy with modern and contemporary additions while still retaining its cottage feel. Everything was thought of in the cottage than you might need for a stay; everything was top quality too. We were met by Vonnie on our arrival with freshly baked bread and milk in the fridge, a very warm welcome! She took us through all the aspects of the house but also had advice and recommendations of the locality and where ( and how much to order) to eat. Overall I would completely recommend Bluebell Cottage and give it a deserved 10/10.

We had a great time at Bluebell Cottage. Vonnie welcomed us warmly and left us some tasty homemade bread. The house is very comfortable and cosy. I hope we can come back someday!
