Bike Park Lodge #2

The lodge was close to all the sightseeing places. So it was convenient. We were a group of 8 , and the lodge had 5 bedrooms with single beds, so we had comfortable night sleep . We hanged around in the kitchen and lounge . Children had a good time playing in the garden and in the game room in the attic.

The patio door was locked , so we couldn't open the door while cooking, and the children were playing in the garden . This was a shame. Before we travelled, we read reviews one such family complained in their review about this door. But this was still not sorted when we got there months later. There are five bedrooms but only one shower room downstairs. Upstairs, there is a bathroom with a shower handle but no curtain or glass door to prevent splashing . So we spent a lot of time cleaning the splash and always felt damp getting in the bathroom, which was not very pleasant.

Great location and a great house for a big group.

Only having one shower in the house, the second bathroom is a shower in a bath that is very awkward. Would be better if a second shower was put in. Hand towels are needed in all bathrooms. House was ok cleanliness wise. The shower need a a good clean and the bin hasn’t been cleaned for a long time.

Fantastic layout, all amenities you could need, friendly host, lots of helpful information at the property for use, good communication about check in and property use, including taxis shops and all emergency services.

The property is very Modern and spacious. A lot of thought has gone into the design and is very comfortable. Great for a group break away. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and was more than kind to leave us a welcoming gift upon check in. Thank you.

The smart lock for the front door can be temperamental but is easy to use once figured out. The # button needs to be pressed in the case of only a partial key pad being displayed.

Very clean and tidy accommodation . Kitchen utensils were available and easy to use !The fridge freezer with filtered water and ice maker was a bonus as the weather was warm and sunny during our stay. Availability of cleaning materials also helped us keep the house tidy and spotless! Although we did not come to visit the bike park , the bike facilities were amazing!

We couldn’t find the key to the double doors from the dining area to the patio. It could have been better for us to have alfresco dining while the weather was scorching!
