Clare's Cottage

I liked the way Lorna had all the essentials there for when we arrived. It made things easier. The four bedrooms were very comfortable. We are a family of 7. I would recommend this place to stay. The sun-room is a great addition. It was brilliant having access to washing machine. The house felt welcoming, decorated with care.

Excellent location, short walk to Milltown Malbay. Owner left bread, milk, butter which was so kind. Place was clean and spacious. Owner was very accommodating.

Only flaw I suppose was no WiFi and mobile data service wasn't great but we didn't spent a lot of time inside so it didn't effect us. If it was bad weather weekend and you needed wifi that would maybe cause an issue

Beautiful cottage with stunning views and great location for visiting all the attractions of Clare. Nearest beach is Spanish point and hotel there has a little coffee shop for a take away coffee and stroll on beach. Miltown malbay has lovely restaurants and coffee shops too. Cottage itself is in a quiet location, there is a little sea view, plenty of outside space, kids played ball, but if weather nicer you could easily sit out. Rooms all great sizes too with plenty of space for a large family. Sitting in the sun room which is heated listening to the wind and rain was very therapeutic too, I'd go back to enjoy it in summer. Also Lorna had provided bread milk butter crisps and there was oil salt tea coffee , I had brought flour eggs so made pancakes for kids while we planned our days, but was lovely to have the basics there, a nice touch.

There is nothing I didn't like, a little book that listed some of the nearby amenities, shops, church, restaurant and said if you'd need to book tables etc would be something I'd like in any property I visit.

The cottage / house was big enough. It looks better then on the photos. There were 8 of us and 2 bathrooms was enough. We are family. We found everything what we needed in the kitchen and the living room was nice and cosy in the evenings. The location is really great if you wish to discover Co. Clare. We managed to go ( by car ) for a dip / swim on Spanish Point. The atmosphere with all the ladies dancing and singing before the dip was very nice surprise . We liked the location. Fresh air and even that it's near the road it was quiet in the night. If we have visitors again we will hopefully stay here another time.

Visiting for a family wedding in nearby hotel. House was ideal for our family group. Big enough that we could all stay together - 7 of us. The house was really well fitted out and the owner left lots of little extras, bread and milk, toiletries and more

There wasn't anything we didn't like, just would have liked a long mirror maybe on the back of a door so we could be happy we were looking our best for the occasion!!

Good location just outside the town. Also nice to have a few snacks and tea and coffee for us.

Expensive for the facilities and general condition of the property. The beds upstairs were particularly uncomfortable and the duvets and bedding weren't all that comfortable. Only one shower for whole house wasn't enough

Location. Close to Spanish Point and Miltown Malbay. Host very pleasant and informative. Easy access to Doolin-Aran Island and Kilkee cliffs
